Liverpool Football Club is an English professional football club based in Liverpool, Merseyside, playing in the Premier League. Liverpool has won eighteen League titles, second most in English football, seven FA Cups and a record eight League Cups. Liverpool has won more European titles than any other club in England, having won five European Cups, three UEFA Cups and three UEFA Super Cups.

Liverpool was founded in 1892 and admitted into the Football League the following year. The club has played at its home ground, Anfield, since its formation, although since 2002 there have been plans to move to a new stadium in Stanley Park. The most successful period in Liverpool's history was the 1970s and '80s, when Bill Shankly and Bob Paisley led the club to eleven league titles and seven European trophies.

The club's supporters have been involved in two major tragedies. The first was the Heysel Stadium disaster in 1985, in which charging Liverpool fans caused a wall to collapse, killing 39 Juventus supporters. In the 1989 Hillsborough disaster, 96 Liverpool supporters lost their lives in a crush against perimeter fencing.

Liverpool has long-standing rivalries with neighbors Everton and Manchester United. The team has played at home in an all-red strip since 1964, when manager Bill Shankly changed it from red shirts and white shorts in an effort to intimidate the opposition. The club's anthem is ‘You'll Never Walk Alone’.

Liverpool's rivalry with Manchester United is viewed as a manifestation of the cities' competition during the Industrial Revolution of the 19th century. The last player to be transferred between the two clubs was Phil Chisnall, who moved to Liverpool from Manchester United in 1964.

The club appeared in the first edition of the BBC's Match of the Day, which screened highlights of its match against Arsenal at Anfield on 22 August 1964. The first football match to be televised in color was between Liverpool and West Ham United, broadcast live in March 1967. Liverpool fans featured in the Pink Floyd song ‘Fearless’, in which they sang excerpts from ‘You'll Never Walk Alone’. To mark the club's appearance in the 1988 FA Cup Final, Liverpool released a song known as the ‘Anfield Rap’, featuring John Barnes and other members of the squad. A documentary drama on the Hillsborough disaster, written by Jimmy McGovern, was screened in 1996.

Arsenal Football Club is an English Premier League football club based in Holloway, London. One of the most successful clubs in English football, it has won 13 First Division and Premier League titles and 10 FA Cups. Arsenal holds the record for the longest uninterrupted period in the English top flight and would be placed first in an aggregated league of the entire 20th century. It is the second side to complete an English top flight season unbeaten (in the 2003–04 season), and the only one to do it across 38 matches.

Our Club was founded in 1886 in Woolwich and in 1893 became the first club from the south of England to join the Football League. In 1913, it moved north across the city to Arsenal Stadium in Highbury. In the 1930s the club won five League Championship titles and two FA Cups. After a lean period in the post-war years it won the League and FA Cup Double, in the 1970–71 season, and in the 1990s and first decade of the 21st century won two more Doubles and reached the 2006 UEFA Champions League Final. Arsenal has a long-standing rivalry with neighbours Tottenham Hotspur, with whom it contests the North London derby. Other rivalries within London include those with Chelsea, Fulham and West Ham United. In addition, Arsenal and Manchester United developed a strong on-pitch rivalry in the late 1980s, which intensified in recent years when both clubs were competing for the Premier League title – so much so that a 2003 online poll by the Football Fans Census listed Manchester United as Arsenal's biggest rivals, followed by Tottenham and Chelsea.

In 2007–08 Arsenal had the second-highest average League attendance for an English club, and as of 2006, the fourth-highest all-time average attendance. The Club has the seventh highest average attendance of European football clubs only behind Borussia Dortmund, FC Barcelona, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Schalke. The club's location, adjoining wealthy areas such as Canonbury and Barnsbury, mixed areas such as Islington, Holloway, Highbury, and the adjacent London Borough of Camden, and largely working-class areas such as Finsbury Park and Stoke Newington, has meant that Arsenal's supporters have come from across the usual class divides.

The Old Lady are in institution in world football with their back story an intriguing talent of pink shirts and black ties, Fiat and corruption.
Juventus F.C. were founded as Sport Club Juventus on 1st November 1897. The founders were students at an esteemed high school in Turin, the 'Liceo Massimo D'Azeglio'.
Only Genoa and Pro Patria were established before Juventus, who have played in the Italian top flight (given its Serie A title in 1929) every season with the exception 2006/07, when they were demoted amid a match-fixing scandal.
Juve's original kit was a fetching pink number that was complemented by a black tie. In these pre-Persil times pink did not stand up well in the wash so it was decided in 1903 a change was needed. One of their team members, John Savage, was an Englishman who had a contact in Nottingham that could provide new kit. He was a Notts County fan and the rest is history.
The Old Lady won their first title in 1905 but it was not until the Agnelli family, owners of the powerful Fiat motor group, become involved in 1923 did the club establish themselves as Italy's most powerful. It was the Agnelli family that structured the club in a more professional manner and appointed full-time coaches and managers.
Juventus remain the only side in world football to have won all official international competitions. Domestically they have won 40 trophies (including 27 Serie A titles), while their European record reads two European Cups, one Cup Winners' Cup, three Uefa Cups, one Intercontinental Cup and two Super Cups.
Their first professional coach was JenoKaroly, who served the club between 1923-26. In the intervening period Juve have gone through a further 48, with Luigi Del Neri the current incumbent.
The early 1930s were particularly fruitful as Juventus secured five successive titles between 1930 and 1935. Thereafter followed a barren spell as their next titles came in 1949/50 and 1951/52 (the latter under English coach Jesse Carver).
Welshman John Charles enjoyed a prolific spell with the Turin giants between 1957 and 1962, scoring 93 goals in 150 appearances. In later years Liam Brady, Ian Rush and David Platt would go on to wear black and white with varying degrees of success.
A survey conducted in national newspaper La Repubblica concluded Juventus are the best supported club in Italy, with over 12million fans (32.5% of Italian football fans).

Founded in Istanbul by a group of youngsters from the Kadikoy district on the Anatolian side of the city, Fenerbahçe were named after a local lighthouse. Two years later they adopted their familiar yellow and navy blue kit.
Dominant in the Istanbul Football League, they made their reputation during Allied occupation from 1918, winning 41 of 50 fixtures against French, British and Italian army sides. They developed a big support base, including Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, founder of the modern Turkish nation.
In 1923, prior to the formation of the modern Turkish league, Fenerbahçe went through their entire season without conceding; by contrast in the 1988/89 Super League they scored a record 103.
The Sarı Kanaryalar won the first modern Turkish title in 1959, beating the team with which they have traditionally vied for local and national supremacy, Galatasaray AŞ. They have since claimed a record-equalling 16 more.
Brazilian coaches have been important for Fenerbahçe. Between 1972 and 1975, Didi led them to back-to-back league titles, part of a haul of eight trophies in what represents the most successful spell a coach has ever had at the club. In 2006/07, Zico captured the Turkish crown before leading them to their first UEFA Champions League quarter-final appearance the following season.
In 2011, Aykut Kocaman steered Fenerbahçe to an 18th league title, becoming the first person to win the championship both as a player and a manager.
