Use DS video to stream your video collection on your DiskStation to your Android device. Browsing is made easy as your videos are sorted in different libraries, and each movies has its information retrieved online automatically. And if you have plugged in a DTV dongle to your DiskStation, you will also be able to record TV programs, as well as view the TV program to manage the recording schedule even when on the move.

With DS video you can:
-Browse and play your video contents stored on your DiskStation
-Add videos and movies to your collections (“Favourites, “Watchlist” or user-defined)
-Record TV programs if you have at least one DTV dongle plugged into your DiskStation
-View the Electronic Program Guide, as well as add or remove programs to the Recording Schedule
-Supports Live streaming of DTV channels (up to SD quality)
-Stream videos to AirPlay and DLNA TV
-Select available subtitles (.srt files, embedded on mkv files) and embedded audio tracks
-Supports encrypted login over HTTP without SSL
-Supports HTTPS connection (when playing videos, this is dependent on the device and player used)
-All feature available with DSM 5.0 Beta, Video Station 1.3 and onwards
-Supported on devices running Android 2.3 and onwards

DS file is ideal to manage files stored on your DiskStation, upload or download between the NAS and the Android device, or do basic editing tasks. And always securely with HTTPS support. Discover a new and pleasant way to enjoy music on your Android phones and tablets wherever an Internet connection is available. DS audio allows you to browse your DiskStation’s music library while playing it in the background, as well as displaying the lyrics of the song being played. Better yet, you can download songs to your Android device’s local memory to listen to them even when no network is available. You can also control music playback on connected speakers in a simple and convenient way.

With DS audio on Android Phones and Tablets, you can do the following:

DS download

With DS download, manage your downloads anywhere you are with your Android Device, directly to you DiskStation. In addition to viewing your Download Station status, individual task information, controlling key settings such as download schedules, DS download also has an inbuilt browser to conveniently start downloads, and integrates with your device’s native browser. Even better, you can use keywords to search for content, just like in Download Station.

With DS download on Android, you can:
-Monitor and manage your downloads
-Search torrents by keywords and download them directly
-Create download tasks through the inbuilt Web browser (tap link) or by inputting url/download links directly
-Create download tasks through the native browser for supported links (ftps://, sftp://, magnet://, thunder://, flashget://, qqdll://, ed2k://, *torrent, *nzb, – Download Station 3.3 may be required for certain link types)

DS cloud

DS cloud is the counterpart to Cloud Station for your Android device. It allows you to choose the folders on your DiskStation which you want to sync to your mobile device and make available for offline viewing. DS cloud also gives you total control over the sync criteria: for each folder, you can set the maximum file size as well as the type of files you wish to sync.

With DS cloud for Android devices, you can:
-Synchronise files between Cloud Station on your DiskStation and your mobile device (limited to 10GB per file)
-Select which folders you want to sync and set the sync behaviour per folder (maximum file size and file formats)
-Browse, view and play files synced to your Android device
-Choose to sync on Wifi connections only
-View files which have been recently modified
-Connect with your QuickConnect ID
-Transmission encrypted with with SSL
-Requires Cloud Station 2.2 (DSM 4.3) or Cloud Station 3.0 (DSM 5.0)

DS finder makes it easy to monitor the status of your DiskStation on the go, as well as start up the DiskStation remotely. IT professionals can receive important system notifications about their DiskStation instantly, or use it to locate the DiskStation in massive server rooms with the built-in buzzer. If you need to do any troubleshooting, you can email out the DiskStation’s network/storage info directly from the Android device.

With DS finder for Android, you can:
-Search all the DiskStations within the local area network
-Monitor the current status of your DiskStation
-Receive system push notification from DiskStation on the “Favorite” list. (DSM 4.0 is required)
-Locate a DiskStation with its built-in buzzer
-Start up the DiskStation remotely with WOL function
-Email out the DiskStation’s network/storage info directly from your device

DS cam allows you to view and monitor your surveillance cameras on your DiskStation anywhere network connection is available. Streaming live view in real-time, controlling camera angles, searching and playing event recordings are all possible from your Android device. Better yet, with CMS enabled in your Surveillance Station, you can use filters to easily find cameras by groups or servers of a large scale surveillance installation, as well as customize your live views for more convenience.

With DS cam, you can:
-Stream live view and replay events recorded in MJPEG, H.264, MPEG4 format (DSM 3.2 or onward is required)
-Customise your live views with filters and a multi-select mode (enabling CMS and the latest Surveillance Station are required)
-Receive push notification from Surveillance Station
