CapCut: Enhance your creativity with AI

CapCut is best known for its extensive library of customizable templates that help you put together exciting videos. Now, it’s even better with new AI features that make it easier to create eye-catching content.

A picture might be worth a thousand words, but you’ll only need a few phrases to create one using the new AI poster feature. Simply tap the AI poster button on the Edit tab to build a graphic for your next event or announcement. Use Smart Script for simpler designs and type in a prompt, like “live show” or “summer sale.” Tap “Generate” and CapCut will give you options for ready-made posters.

Advanced Script gives you even more control over your poster. You can add your desired text – like a date, contact information, or other details – and upload the main photo. Then, choose which material you want to generate, such as a promotion or product display. This helps CapCut’s design algorithm deliver an appropriate vibe for your creation.

Want to create a lookbook for your own outfits, or even a showcase for your online boutique? You can now use AI models to show how your clothes look when worn. Just tap the AI model button on the Edit tab and choose from a variety of realistic AI-generated avatars with different looks.

Next, upload flat lay photos of the clothes you want your avatar to model. After uploading, you can choose which pieces to mix and match, and pick poses for your model. Once you’re happy with your choices, tap “Generate" in the upper-right corner of your screen and CapCut will render image options based on your selections. Tap each look you want to keep, and then tap “Export.”

Jazz up your photos using a wide range of AI effects and styles. Simply tap the AI effects button on the Edit tab, upload a photo you want to transform and choose from a variety of AI effects, like oil painting, comics, and more. If you’re looking for specific elements – like a sunset – you can enter these keywords in the prompt box and get as creative as you like.

Tap “Generate” and let the AI turn your prompt into customized images. You can choose from the generated options and export your image as-is, or turn your before-and-after images into an exciting video by tapping “Add a transition.” Simply choose from CapCut’s transition template library – complete with music options – to go with your new video.

On the edit tab, tap “Auto captions” and select the video you want to generate subtitles for. Choose the spoken language in the video, eye-catching templates for how your captions will appear, or even toggle a filter that identifies filler words. Once you’re happy with your selections, tap Generate.

On the editing dashboard, you’ll see the captions on your video. Tap text boxes to edit text, drag them to better positions, or change up the style for emphasis by tapping “Caption templates” on the toolbar. Adding captions doesn’t just make your content more engaging – it also makes it more accessible and easier to follow for viewers. Once you’re finished, tap Export in the upper-right corner.
