With every move, you have to carefully decide which two candies to swap. Sometimes, that decision is tough, but if you wait a bit, the game will give you a suggestion by highlighting a potential move. In the early levels, you should listen. Eventually, as you learn the ins and outs of how each level type works, you'll notice that the suggested move isn't always the most helpful in a certain situation. It's good to trust the game, but once you get to higher levels, you have to trust your own instincts.

Don't simply make the first move you see on the board. Take your time to see what's available to you. An unexpected swap could unlock a tricky jelly, or a move that might have been your second or third choice at the top of the grid could turn into a supreme combo basically out of nowhere.

If you're able to match four or five candies in a single move, you’ll earn a candy boost on the board. Striped candies remove an entire row or column when swapped. Wrapped candies are small "bombs" that eliminate the candy in every adjacent square. Color Bombs can remove every candy of a single color from the board. These are only a few examples; learn them all and use them when you can.
