Free Fire offers plenty of character options; some focusing on healing and others on attack or even defense. A few characters are all about causing as much damage as possible, and that's where Dasha fits in.
This guide will run you through everything you need to know about Dasha, from her special ability to the best strategies to use when dropping onto the map with her.
All about Dasha
Despite her free spirit persona, Dasha's backstory is filled with tragedy. Her parents died when she was young, leaving her with an abusive foster family. Not only that, but the one friend she had moved away while she was dealing with the horror of living in a country on the brink of war.
Now though, Dasha is Free Fire's in-game party girl, abiding by the saying 'work hard, play harder'. A prankster and rebel, she is linked to the Mambas, the group resisting the creatures and organizers of the Free Fire tournament, Horizon.
Dasha's ability
Dasha's ability, Partying On, encourages as much offense as you can muster during a match. Every knockdown or elimination will cause Dasha to enter Highlight Mode, significantly increasing her rate of fire and movement speed for around six seconds.
You can keep the party going even with multiple eliminations, as each elimination after Dasha enters Highlight Mode will reset the countdown. What's more, it will also boost both stats, turning her into an elimination machine. If there's a group of enemies in front of you, try to take out as many as you can.
Can Dasha be Awakened?
Some characters in Free Fire come with an option for an "Awakening". These are special alternate versions of those characters with enhanced stats and abilities. Dasha does not have an Awakened state, so what you see is what you get with the character.
However, you can use assorted Preset combinations to enhance her skills and give her new special abilities For instance Jota's ability increases Dasha's health with every successful shot, so Highlight Mode's buffs will be packaged with life gain as well.
Best Dasha strategies
Offense, offense, offense! Dasha is not the type of character to be played passively, as her special ability depends on her racking up as many eliminations as possible. When you drop her into a game, find a weapon and start hunting opponents as soon as possible.
She is a prime candidate for whenever you want to drop into a map's hot zone. There's no guarantee you'll come out unscathed, but if you can get the first elimination and activate Highlight Mode, your chances of survival will go up dramatically.
