Why would the police come back looking for a dead man? Kerry McGinnis was born in Adelaide and, at the age of twelve, took up a life of droving with her father and three siblings. The family travelled extensively across the Northern Territory and Queensland before settling on a station in the Gulf Country. Kerry has worked as a shepherd, droving hand, gardener, and stock-camp and station cook. She is the author of two memoir volumes and now lives in Bundaberg.

Cecelia Ramsdale is an experienced voice actor, spending many hours behind the microphone voicing hundreds of commercials, video scripts and audiobooks, as well as playing numerous characters in the children’s animated series Sumo Mouse, Flea Bitten and SheZow. She has narrated audiobooks for both children and adults, and for years has hosted The Wellness Collective – a podcast that arms women with information about how to live happier and healthier lives, alongside women's health expert, Nat Kringoudis. Cecelia is passionate about working with her voice, and trains others wanting to give their voice a try.
