About this audiobook

'Welcome to the Knight Bus, emergency transport for the stranded witch or wizard. Just stick out your wand hand, step on board and we can take you anywhere you want to go.'

When the Knight Bus crashes through the darkness and screeches to a halt in front of him, it's the start of another far from ordinary year at Hogwarts for Harry Potter. Sirius Black, escaped mass-murderer and follower of Lord Voldemort, is on the run - and they say he is coming after Harry. In his first ever Divination class, Professor Trelawney sees an omen of death in Harry's tea leaves... But perhaps most terrifying of all are the Dementors patrolling the school grounds, with their soul-sucking kiss...

Having become classics of our time, the Harry Potter stories never fail to bring comfort and escapism. With their message of hope, belonging and the enduring power of truth and love, the story of the Boy Who Lived continues to delight generations of new listeners.

The book is fine, but I found it was extremely difficult to get into the story because the narrator reads everything in the same tone and inflection. I also wish they'd chosen someone a little younger sounding because it takes you out of to the story to hear the events that are supposed to be through a teenager's POV in a voice that sounds like it belongs to a 50 year old man.

So MAGICAL!! It is one of my all time favorite books!! I would recommend it to all my peers. Hermione is such a great character she is a brilliant person. Ron thought wrong about Hermione, they will end up needing her in the end. ( Sorry for those reading and have not yet finished the series) Really pay attention to the way things are described, because in England they have a lot of weird words.
