Asian FMC skilled in martial arts, very cool! 2. FMC and MMC had supportive, loving families 3. The steamy sexy times were hot, hot, HOT 4. Funny! Had a few spit takes. Keep towels nearby - your walls, children, and pets will thank you. CONS: 1. Continually called her "fea" as a Var term of endearment, but in Spanish it means ugly. 2. One inconsistency 3. The romance was so fabulous, I'm addicted NOTEWORTHY: 1. Their obvious desire for each other gave their relationship a genuine quality to it. 2. The last chapter when the Var family all gets together - such a sweet scene to end this series. 3. Melt-my-heart quotes: -"I don't want to go, Mei. I want to be with you forever. I will be your servant just to be near you..." -"You would give up space for me? she sniffed. "I would give up eternity for you, my love..." RECOMMEND reading books in order to get the full taste of the entire world, characters, and experiences in this series. Worth it!
