This was my first experience with this author, and I enjoyed it. At first, it started off a little slow but then the characters wrapped around my heart, and I found it difficult to drag myself away from the story. I liked Emily-Elizabeth Seawatcher and Danny Corsair and their friendship as the story started when they when children. The story made me laugh, cry, held me on the edge-of my seat, and touched my heart. I was sad when it ended, and I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.
