From their first meeting, Ian wants the beautiful blonde with an intensity that threatens his ironclad rule: never mix business with pleasure. Convinced she deserves better than a man with his dark needs, he fights their undeniable attraction.

But when danger stalks Angie, she has no choice but to put her life—and her heart—in Ian's powerful hands. As he protects her body, she awakens desires he's kept locked away. Now Ian must decide: is loving her worth breaking all his rules?

Ratings and reviews

This was a great second installment in the series. The shift from the romance back to the military/undercover subplot was a bit abrupt and I would have liked a tiny bit of spice at the end to round out the story but the ending was still nice. Overall I'm enjoying this series Ian and Angie's story was sweet and well written.

Thiis was and will be an amazing story to listen to. Brilliant.
