About this audiobook

Masterful storytelling from #1 bestselling global phenomenon Sarah J. Maas brings her sexy, action-packed series to new heights.

Feyre has undergone more trials than one human woman can carry in her heart.

Though she’s now been granted the powers and lifespan of the High Fae, she is haunted by her time Under the Mountain and the terrible deeds she performed to save the lives of Tamlin and his people.

As her marriage to Tamlin approaches, Feyre’s hollowness and nightmares consume her. She finds herself split into two different people: one who upholds her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court, and one who lives out her life in the Spring Court with Tamlin.
While Feyre navigates a dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms. She might just be the key to stopping it, but only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future—and the future of a world in turmoil.

Brutally feminine my rotting foot. Heteronormative and unimaginative. Just when I think im going to enjoy the story the author throws in a twist that completely ignores the story she built before. "The most powerful high lord in the history of the world." So powerful they can level whole kingdoms, yet constanly has his power blocked and is taken down by less than 30 people with a handful of arrows. A spy master so skilled his own brutal people don't dare move against him, yet can't figure out how to get into a mortal palace or figure out why he's so completely blocked from it. A city held protected for 5000 years, besieged in one move. Rediculous and nonsensical. I don't know if I'm more upset about spending $40 on the 2 books at this point or the fact that I'm such a freakin completionist that I'm going to spend more on the others. The others with equally weak story lines and pointless ramblings. Ugh!

This is definitely a great continuation to the first one. I was pulled in since the beginning. There were parts that seemed a bit boring or possibly it didn't move quick enough but when it picked up again I was invested.

OMG OMG OMG. This was the best novel I've read my entire life, it has everything romance, angst, suspence, amazing inner circle, strong female lead. I couldn't put it down, I listened to the audiobook till 4:00 am! I finished it in just 2 days. I'm in hangover of this book. Rhysand is AMAZING❤️. Narrator has beautifully brought this book to life 😍
