Previously a K-8 library media specialist, Abby Cooper is now a full-time author of books for children. She has written the novels Bubbles and Sticks and Stones. Friend or Fiction is her third novel for middle-grade readers.

Rachel L. Jacobs holds a bachelor's degree from Oberlin College's Theater Program. She has years of experience as a theater and musical theater actress, touring the West Coast (of the US) and China. An AudioFile Earphones and Parent's Choice Award-winning narrator, Rachel now narrates books full-time.
