About this audiobook

Reality isn't what it used to be.

In gritty Detroit, ex-thief Fredrick thinks flipping a run-down house is his ticket to a quiet life with his pregnant wife. But discovering a sealed room reveals more than bad wiring—it unlocks a portal. A gateway where gravity twists, time distorts, and duplicates of everyday objects hint at parallel worlds bleeding together.

What starts as a bizarre anomaly quickly spirals into a fight for survival. A deadly encounter leaves Fredrick implicated in a crime he can't report, forcing him deeper into the impossible space beyond the portal. He confronts hostile creatures, glimpses of alternate selves, and the chilling implications of a universe operating on rules that defy sanity.

Caught between fleeing the law in his own reality and navigating the mind-bending dangers of another, Fredrick must unravel the secrets of The Bootstrap Paradox. If he doesn't, he won't just lose his freedom—he might lose himself across timelines.

Very enjoyable book. Narration not as enjoyable as listening to the author read it, but I really enjoyed the story. The end is bitter sweet & could definitely see it lead to a sequel.

About the author

I write to entertain, and I hope that comes through. If you like stories where something mysterious has happened and a small group of people are struggling to figure out what they should do next, then this is the kind of sandbox I dig around within. I aim to publish 2-3 books a year.
