Danger lurks in the sleepy little town of Marathon, in the middle of the Florida Keys, as well as in the swamps of the Everglades. But danger doesn't expect to run into a man like Jesse. A man who will not only respond swiftly in facing it, but with a vengeance unexpected.

Ratings and reviews

Having recently visited the Florida Keys, I really enjoyed this book from a perspective of it bringing my own memories of the place to the fore. It would help other readers to know however, that most of the book is just a nice story about a former Marine making his new life in the Keys. While there is some action and suspense, it's not the main story. Normally every part of a thriller is related, but here, the main story really just a nice story about life in the Keys.

I was introduced to this character and writer in "Graceless: A Tropical Authors Novella". I bought this to give it a try and will now read them all. I am hooked.
