Born in 1982 in Barcelona, Xavier Marcé earned his degree in Journalism in the city of Seville, where he currently resides after having lived in Badalona, Casablanca, Zürich, Oslo, and Hanoi.
Since 1996 he has specialized in communication and the management of online communities, mainly in the video game sector. He began his journalistic work collaborating for three years at Micromanía magazine, being in charge of the Online Zone section. In 2004 he co-founded, together with David Puig, the first Spanish-language magazine specializing in massively multiplayer online gaming, Juegaenred.com, and would direct it until 2013, at which point he left it to create a new magazine, GoMultiplayer.
In 2007 he made the leap to the video game industry with Funcom as Spanish Community Manager for Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures and The Secret World until 2010. Since then he has combined the publishing world with that of video games. Mainly with Megapop Games, launching titles such as Trolls vs Vikings 1 & 2, Meganumbers, Haxity, Rob Riches, Trolls vs Vikings: Reborn, and Life Below, and the university world as a teacher on the Master's in Online Marketing and Social Media Strategies at the University of Seville. In addition, in 2024 he launched himself into the adventure of the F&B sector by founding Barbaros Group together with Carlos Bravo and David Escojido to create innovative and creative proposals in Vietnam with international projection.
A proactive and restless person, Xavier Marcé has set out to create new paths for literature with the transmedia literary saga of 'Mark of Odin'. After the launch of the first three books of the saga: 'The Awakening', 'The Road to Valhalla', and 'Ragnarok', Marcé published 'The Stone Lotus', his first standalone fiction thriller novel, the result of his stay in Vietnam in 2022. In 2023 he decided to unify all his current and future works under the 'XaviVerso' brand, the literary universe of Xavier Marcé where everything is connected. In addition, he published the political thriller 'Yes, They Will Pass! Spanish Civil War in 24 Tweets', his most controversial work to date, before in 2026 he shared the global action thriller 'In Rare Earths' establishing his new series 'Dystopian Present'.
