The author facilitates the attainment of happiness, firstly by describing the seven levels of happiness, and secondly, by stating the steps which lead towards it.
The first four levels are mundane, meaning less tempered and worldly. The remaining three-Happiness through service, Divine Happiness and Eternal Bliss are higher levels. Sirshree, gently, but firmly guides us towards them.
He steers us away from false happiness and lays great stress on acceptance on the path to happiness. His methods and information make attaining instant happiness and true; and everlasting bliss, here and now, a possibility.
One gets to know this interval of freedom for the choice of response with regular practice of meditation and that is the biggest benefit of meditation. You need to be seasoned in meditation to understand the interval of freedom for the choice of response. The goal of life is not only earning a living but also achieving the ‘Mission Earth.’ For achieving this, you can choose one of the two paths, namely the path of ‘being’ and the path of ‘doing’. The three powers which will assist you in achieving this goal are 1) The Power of Presence. 2) The Power of Present and 3) The Power of Pure Love.
The mind forms the impressions (termed as packets in the discourse) in every experience or while meeting different individuals and then these impressions interfere while one encounters a similar new experience or when one again meets those individuals. With this, one does not live in the present with complete awareness and remains deprived of what the present is offering.
The world is our mirror and we need to set right our makeup by looking in to this mirror, which means the world around is in fact continuously giving us our feedback and with that we need to take the necessary actions in our life. In reality people do not understand this and keep blaming others for the problems they face.
