The Realm Issues
It all begins here. The epic fantasy series for those that enjoy Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Dungeons and Dragons, and Game of Thrones. Here is the introductory issue and sets the stage for the magic and Middle Earth adventures that will be unveiled. Four normal modern day teenagers are plunged into a world they thought only existed in novels and film. They are whisked away to a magical land where dragons roam the skies, orcs and hobgoblins terrorize weary travelers, dark magic consumes kingdoms, and where unicorns prance through the forest. It is a world where man is just one race, joining other races such as elves, trolls, dwarves, changelings, and the dreaded creatures who steal the night. This is not a typical "dungeons and dragons" world, for this world follows the adventures of these wayward teens into the unknown as we watch the world unfold in front of their (and our) eyes. Luckily for some of them, they are saved and then joined by an escaped slave, the female elven named Silverfawn. It was a world of magic, of enchantment, of adventure and of death.
<p>"The Search". Dom, Alex, and Silverfawn travel to the slave capital city of Drohm, which is controlled by Lord Darkoth. There, knowing they can't rescue Marjorie and Sandra, they hope to purchase them on the slave market. Alex and Dom also find out first hand about the dreaded Night Creatures that inhabit the land but now they have been joined by the mighty dwarf warrior, Diggourous Gorey. "A great adventure comic...there’s an audience out there just waiting for a book of this caliber...and you owe it yourself to be a part of that audience." - Comic Shop News</p>
<p>"The Siege". The group finds Castle Darkoth where Sandra is being held, but will find themselves having trouble getting in seeing how it's on tons of rock...floating over a lake! Ultimately finding their way in, they come up against the Hobgoblins, the personal guards of Lord Darkoth and soon realize that they were led into a trap and one by one, they fall. "It’s great to see a fantasy comic with great art, and a damn fine story." - Jason Mulligan</p>
<p>"Of Damsels and Darklords" The teens and their friends find out just how powerful Darkoth is. To their surprise, Sandra refuses to leave with them as she prefers the safety of Castle Darkoth even if it is ruled by the evil Lord. In an additional tale, "It's A Small World" On their journey to the city of Rubaton, a curious new member is picked up and joins the group...Grappo Pilden of the Hairfoot race.</p>
<p>Rubaton, the trading capital of all the Realm. You can find anything in Rubaton…for a price as Dom soon discovers. Alex "meets" Letha Kazan at the local tavern and who will be a major character later in the series. Meanwhile, Lord Darkoth prepares for conquest and will lead the Realm into a war which will rip the land apart.</p>
<p>Marjorie finds herself compelled to believe in different things and pulls away from Alex after discovering him with the female warrior Letha Kazen. Darkoth uses the hidden talents of Sandra to summon the Shinde Imas - the Elf Slayer, as he continues his plans to conquer the Realm.</p>
