Sirius vows to protect Misty-Rain and follows her to Earth, but soon has his hands full as she struggles to earn her living and dodge the everyday dangers of the human world. Their life proceeds well, but Sirius has struck a dark bargain with the Sea Witch and he can feel her cold presence touching him. Nanny sends the beautiful Thornpricker to Earth to rescue Sirius. However, the prince's love for Misty-Rain anchors him to this world and Thronpricker's hatred of Misty-Rain rises to new levels. Sirius is about to learn the definition of trouble.
The 10th Sea Witch unfolds her evil plan to ensnare the life of Sirius, the Prince of Unicorns. Meanwhile, in the human world, Misty-Rain struggles with her school work, tormented by happy memory fragments of her younger life among the Dokebis. Sirius grows more popular at the expense of the jealous and arrogant Hanbit, but physically begins to deteriorate as the Witch's deadly potions take effect. Desperate to save his life, the Unicorn Kingdom sends deadly Griffons to retrieve their Prince and the only thing standing in their way is the life of Misty-Rain.
Prince Sirius flees the deadly Griffons sent to capture and drag him back to the Land of the Unicorns. However, when they target Misty-Rain's life, Sirius hides her in the farthest corners of the Earth. Misty-Rain regains her memory and learns the true depth of the Prince's love, but at a cost. They can't hide forever. Sooner or later, Sirius must make a stand and face the Griffons. Meanwhile, Medusa bides her time, watching and waiting for the perfect opportunity to force Sirius to drink her last potion and claim his soul forever.
The soul of Sirius desperately clings to a fragile limbo between life and death, struggling to keep out of Medusa's grasp. One step across the river of death and his soul will be lost to her forever. Sirius makes a contract with the 10th sea witch to stay longer in the human world, so he can be with his beloved Misty-Rain. Thornpricker, Misty-Rain's longstanding nemesis, comes down to Earth to make sure Sirius is okay, and in the process, she makes it a point to do everything in her power to make Misty-Rain's life a constant misery. Meanwhile, Misty-Rain recovers the memories of her past and Sirius risks his life to stay with her and protect her from the dangers that are sure to come. Amid the confusion, the schemes, and all the magic twists, will their love ever have a chance to bloom?
Misty-Rain is deported to the land of her birth, and Sirius, the rich Prince of the Land of Unicorns, tries to go to the human world to find her. Concerned for her charge, Nanny hatches a plot that causes the young prince to lose all his memories of Misty-Rain. With only a fox-witch as companion in this strange new world, Misty-Rain gets into a car accident, and almost dies. Two years pass and Misty-Rain, a normal eighth-grader at Yoolha Middle School, is now living with a human family. As she lives out her new life, Misty-Rain seems to have all but forgotten the magical land where she was raised. Prince Sirius, however, is gradually snapping out of Nanny's spell and is slowly remembering...
Abandoned in a cabbage patch as a baby, Misty-Rain is saved from certain death by a witch who brings her up as her own. Far from the company of humans, she is raised as one of the Dokebi, a magical race from Korean myth. Among them she is happy and content, until one day she loses the trust of her protector, causing the enchantment that had kept the secret of her true identity to be broken. She is cast out to the world of her birth and must find her place among her own kind.
