The Rosicrucian Fellowship aims to educate and construct, to be charitable even to those from whom we differ, and never to vent the venom of vituperation, spite, or malice even upon those who seem deliberately determined to mislead. We revere the Catholic religion; it is as divine in its essence, as both were born to further the aspiration of the striving soul, and both have a message and a mission in the wor ld not apparent upon the surface today, because man made ceremonial as a scale has hidden the present articles to remove that scale and show the Cosmic purpose of these two Great Organizations, which are so bitterly antagonistic to each other. We do not aim to reconcile them, however, for though they are both designed to further the emancipation of the soul, their methods are different, and the attributes of the soul fostered by one method will indeed be very different from the quality of the soul nurtured in the other School.
An esoteric exposition of medical and natal astrology explaining the arts of prediction and diagnosis of disease. This book is the prefect textbook for any person interested in astrology. From the signs to the nature of the planets and from the secrets of the sun and the moon to the art of reading the horoscope - Heindel shows it all.
There is a side of the Moon which we never see, but that hidden half is as potent a factor in causing the ebb and flow of the earth's tide, as the part of the Moon which is visible. Similarly, there is an invisible part of man which exerts a powerful influence in life, and as the tides are measured by the motion of the Sun and Moon, so also the eventualities of existence are measured by the circling stars, which may therefore be called the "Clock of Destiny," and knowledge of their import is an immense power, for to the competent astrologer the horoscope reveals every secret of life. This book and the simplified method it contains of casting a horoscope in a thoroughly scientific manner is published in order to enable anyone who can add and subtract to do the work himself, instead of relying on others. Thus he will obtain a deeper knowledge of the causes which are operative in life than any professional astrologer who is a stranger can give.
Danish-American mystic and astrologer MAX HEINDEL (1865-1919), developer of the modern teachings of the esoteric Christian philosophy of Rosicrucianism, is considered by some the greatest Western spiritualist of the 20th century. In this 1919 volume, a companion to Heindel's The Message of the Stars (also available from COSIMO CLASSICS), he offers a simple and practical method of casting horoscopes that brings the art and craft within the realm of anyone who can do basic math. You'll learn how to... . interpret the houses of the zodiac . deal with time zones . understand rising signs . calculate the positions of the planets . and more. You'll also find here a "Philosophic Encyclopedia of Astrology," with definitions of all the terms you'll encounter when casting a horoscope.
We read in the Bible the story of how Noah and a remnant of his people with him were saved from the flood and formed the nucleus of the humanity of the Rainbow Age in which we now live. It is also stated that Moses led his people out of Egypt, the land of the Bull, Taurus, through waters which engulfed their enemies and set them free as a chosen people to worship the Lamb, Aries, into which sign the sun had then entered by precession of the equinox. These two narratives relate to one and the same incident, namely, the emergence of infant humanity from the doomed continent of Atlantis into the present age of alternating cycles where summer and winter, day and night, ebb and flow, follow each other. As humanity had then just become endowed with mind, they began to realize the loss of the spiritual sight which they had hitherto possessed, and they developed a yearning for the spirit world and their divine guides which remains to this day, for humanity has never ceased to mourn their loss. Therefore the ancient Atlantean Mystery Temple, the Tabernacle in the Wilderness, was given to them that they might meet the Lord when they had qualified themselves by service and subjugation of the lower nature by the Higher Self. Being designed by Jehovah it was the embodiment of great cosmic truths hidden by a veil of symbolism which spoke to the inner or Higher Self.
This volume contains mystical writings of Max Heindel on the little understood subject of Nature Spirits and Nature Forces. It is a correlation from his many books, lovingly collected in one volume by one of Max Heindel's students. Max Heindel is known as the most advanced of Western Mystics and has in his numerous books given to the world a mine of information about Nature Spirits, the little people with whom he had such interesting experiences. The writer has listened to many stories (which unfortunately have not been put in writing) of his experiences with these Spirits, of how they live and their appearance. He had many times remarked that he would sometime write an entire book on the Nature Spirits, but his very arduous work of pioneering interfered with this much needed work.
Danish-American mystic and astrologer MAX HEINDEL (1865-1919) is considered by some the greatest Western spiritualist of the 20th century, and with the aid of his wife, research assistant, and fellow occultist AUGUSTA FOSS HEINDEL (1865-1949), he helped develop the modern teachings of the esoteric Christian philosophy of Rosicrucianism. Here, in this 1918 work, the Heindels examine the art of astrology through this lens of this mysterious strain of mysticism that connects humanity to the stars. You'll learn... . why the human body reacts to the vibrations of the planets that we interpret as astrology . how to interpret the complex influence of the planets on each of the signs of the zodiac . how the zodiacal signs affect human health, and which signs rule which parts of the body . how a healer can ensure his vibrations will complement his patient's for maximum therapeutic impact . how horoscopes can diagnose disease . and much more.
