Located on the nasal chonchae, we have four reflexology areas with clear references to the sympathetic nervous centers. Their influences reach from the functions of the reproductive organs over the digestive and respiratory regulation up to the head functions. First descriptions of these zones were made at the same time by Voltilini and McKenzie at the end of the 19th century . At the beginning of the 20th century Prof. Fliess in Berlin was very successful, and later in 1950 followed the German Dr. Niels Krack with these topics.

In this reflexology system the diagnostic possibilities are in the background, but for more than 120 years they are applied successfully for many subjects. These include e.g. menstrual disorders, prostate gland issues, digestive problems, bronchitis or migraine. The easiest possibility is to apply very gentle and careful massages on these zones with generally available cotton swabs soaked with diluted essential oils (approx. 1:30 with neutral oils !) .

Dear friends of reflexology,

thank you for your interest in my reflexology charts which have proven their effectiveness in nearly three decades. The charts of the »maps of health« represent the organs as icons. This offers a symbolic language which allows an orientation at a glance in all reflexology systems. The reflexology charts with their descriptive illustrations provide you with a useful aid for your treatments. Additionally you can use the result sheets for documentation of your experiences

The ears are our energetic display and treatment tables of the body and its mental functions. There are different schools: a French school (Nogier et al.), a Chinese school (Koenig, Wancura, et al.), a Vienna school (Kropej) and a Russian school (Bucek, Durinjan). At the ears we can regulate the energy and information flow in the concerned tissues. On the physical level, we often achieve pain alleviations within seconds and sustained metabolic effects. Mentally the effects on depressions and addictions are particularly impressive.

In the classical application these points and areas will be treated with needles or with lasers and they are stimulated with specific electric impulses or with magnets. However, this is not absolutely necessary , as it has been proven that massages with crystal wands and punctual illumination with light (Mandel) can provide us with these positive effects as well.

Important ! Contraindications especially for these treatments: pregnancy , M.S., epilepsy

In addition to clear signs of organic disorders on the chest is the protected area of our emotions. It shows the manner in which physical issues are associated with unresolved emotions. The ancient Chinese practice of acupuncture confirms this "map of emotions". The basis of this reflexology are the assignments of the segmental dermatomes, which were first described by Sir Henry Head in 1893 and since then they have experienced a continuous development.

These points of traditional Chinese medicine may well be considered as somatotopic organ-related reflexology points. The acupuncturist Bachmann indicated already in 1959 that the respective alarm point is not usually on the organ associated meridian, but always close to the locations of the concerned organ. The peculiarity of these points is that they are one of the earliest "alarm" for regulatory disorders of organs - long before we can register something by other diagnostic techniques.
