About this ebook
Τὸ βιβλίο αὐτὸ προέκυψε ἀπὸ μία ἐπίσκεψή μου στὴν Ἱ. Μονὴ Ἁγίου Νικολάου Βουναίνης στὰ Καμπιά, κοντὰ στὴ Σκριποῦ Βοιωτίας. Βλέποντας ἐκεῖ τὶς τοιχογραφίες τῶν διδύμων μαρτύρων Φλώρου καὶ Λαύρου καθὼς καὶ τὰ λείψανα τοῦ Ἁγίου Φλώρου, παρορμήθηκα καὶ ἄρχισα νὰ διαβάζω τὸ μαρτύριό τους. Ἐκ τῶν ὑστέρων θυμήθηκα ὅτι στὶς 18 Αὐγούστου, ἡμέρα τῆς γιορτῆς τους, εἶχα κυριολεκτικῶς σωθεῖ ἀπὸ σοβαρὸ αὐτοκινητιστικὸ ἀτύχημα.
