About the author
섀런 듀켓은 젊은 시절을 히피로 보냈으며, 나중에 컴퓨터 프로그래머가 되어 IT 컨설팅 회사를 운영했다. 또한 코네티컷 주정부의 부국장을 역임했다.
미술학도 출신으로 분자생물학을 접하고서 생물학과에 입학하였으나 IT 프로그래머 및 일러스트레이터로 일했다. 그러던 어느 날 모 라이브클럽의 카메라와 한 몸으로 합체가 되고 말았다.
