오은이 선보이는 언어의 마술
오은의 세번째 시집 『유에서 유』가 문학과지성사에서 출간됐다. 『우리는 분위기를 사랑해』(문학동네, 2013) 이후 3년 만의 시집이다. 오은의 시를 ‘오은의 시’답게 만드는 유쾌한 말놀이와 단어들이 제공하는 재미는 여전하지만, 그 이면에 자리한 사회의 부조리를 향한 거침없는 폭로와 상처, 어둠, 쓸쓸함 등의 감정을 기록해내고자 하는 의지는 더욱 강해졌다.
중첩되는 단어와 시구 들이 밀어붙이는 리듬 속에서 새로운 의미가 창출된다. “세계를 해체하고 재구축하는 놀이”(권혁웅, 문학평론가)이기에 오은, 그의 말놀이는 한가로운 피크닉 장소에 떨어진 폭탄처럼 평온함을 뒤엎고 전에 없던 흥겨움을 터뜨린다. 말놀이로 일궈낸 신나는 한 판이 오은의 시어들 속에서 시작된다.

About the author
2002년 봄 『현대시』를 통해 등단했다. 서울대학교 사회학과를 졸업하고 카이스트 문화기술대학원에서 석사 학위를 받았다. 시집 『호텔 타셀의 돼지들』, 로봇과 서사를 다룬 책 『너는 시방 위험한 로봇이다』, 그리고 색과 그림을 다룬 책 『너랑 나랑 노랑』을 썼다. 현재 작란 동인으로 활동중이다. 딴생각을 하고 딴청을 피울 때 가장 행복하다.
