From the #1 New York Times–bestselling author, a widow cursed with immortality vows to spend eternity alone rather than risk love with another mortal.
Widowed at twenty-two, Kristina Holbrook vows to never give her heart away again. But when she meets Max, a widowed high school football coach, she begins to question her decision to live out eternity alone.
The daughter of vampires, Kristina has many gifts, including the power to move things with her mind. But her immortality feels like a curse whenever she’s around Max, the first man to awaken her senses since the loss of her husband. How can she explain to him that while she looks thirty, she’s actually a hundred years older? Or that her grieving heart could not bear to fall in love with another mortal, only to watch him age and die? Yet something draws Kristina to Max over and over again, something that is starting to feel like fate . . .
Tonight and Always is the richly detailed and emotionally satisfying closing chapter to #1 New York Times– and USA Today–bestselling author Linda Lael Miller’s Black Rose Chronicles quartet.

About the author

"Linda Lael Miller is a bestselling American author of more than 100 contemporary, Western, supernatural, and historical romance novels. Born Linda Lael in 1949 in the state of Washington Miller cites a combination of her love of reading, an encouraging English teacher, and the tales an elderly neighbor used to tell about meeting outlaw Jesse James and witnessing gunfights as inspirations to begin writing at a young age. After graduating high school she went on to travel, living in Italy and London before settling down in Arizona. After five years, Miller returned to her roots—a horse property outside of Spokane. Miller’s longtime devotion to her craft has not gone unnoticed by her readers, nor by the wider literary community—she has won a Silver Pen Award, the Romantic Times award for Most Sensual Historical Romance, and the Romance Writers of America’s Nora Roberts Lifetime Achievement Award. Miller has also been nominated six times for the Romance Writers of America RITA Award, the highest honor given to a romance author. She financed fifteen years of the Linda Lael Miller Scholarships for Women, which was awarded to women aged 25 and older seeking to improve their lives through education. Called the “First Lady of the West” for her prolific and much-loved work in the Western genre, Miller was also writing paranormal romance before it swept its way across the literary landscape post-Twilight—starting in 1993, to be exact. The ageless and ever-alluring tale of vampires and the humans who love them comes (back) to life through Miller’s Black Rose Trilogy, which includes the titles Forever and the Night, For All Eternity, Time Without End, and Tonight and Always."

Book 4 of the Dead in the City series

Beloved author Sara Humphreys' acclaimed paranormal romance series continues with sweltering attraction between two vampires who have all the time in the world to satisfy their desires...

He wants eternity?
Dakota Shelton is a vampire cowboy with a penchant for cinnamon lollipops and Johnny Cash. Though highly skilled and deadly dangerous to his enemies, he's still a Texas good ol' boy at heart. And he has that heart set on wooing Trixie LaRoux-the most badass punk rock chick in town-the old-fashioned way.

Over her undead body...
Trixie is tough as nails and sharp as a silver stake-the last thing she wants is a man to sit on a porch and not grow old with. So it'll take going to hell and back fighting a new threat to vampires before she admits Dakota's courtship makes her blood hum. Turns out chivalry's not dead after all.
