My Two Stud Stand The book opens with Carolina being told that she needs to go out and get laid by one of her coworkers. She ends up going to the bar by herself (okay, interesting) has two drinks (good for her) and for some reason left her phone at home (am I too much of a millennial that I can't even imagine this?) The first man to catch her eye turns out to be a Russian professional hockey player, who takes Carolina home. Carolina is so focused that she doesn't realize that Rurik is trying to warn her about the fact that he's sharing a room with another one of his teammates, but the two men have no problem sharing Carolina, and she returns the favor. Her Three Studs Casual sex is turning out to be a little bit more difficult for Carolina than she realizes. Jeff offers to drive her home, knowing that Rurik is more of a hit it and quit it type of guy. Jeff used to be too, but after an incident, he's become more introspective and hasn't had a one night stand for a while, not until Carolina. In the same vein, Carolina is also still reeling from her first foray into kinky casual sex. Jeff and Carolina have a connection, and end up spending another night together- with Jeff having to catch a flight the next morning. They don't talk for a month, but when they meet back up, Jeff brings a friend, and the three of them have another night together. - As far as everything goes, this was on the lower side of good. Carolina was a weirdly childish adult woman, with a stereotypical best friend, and bizarre sex appeal while being innocent and nice. For how short it is, there's about as much plot as you'd expect. She has a night of celebration that turns into so much more. She meets Rurik in the bar and lets him take her to his room where she then meets Jeff. They have an intense time and Jeff takes her home with promises to return in a few weeks. Imagine her surprise when he actually does come back. He brought Lance this time. The story is very steamy in each of their combinations. Carolina never could have imagined what she would end up with because of that big real estate deal.
