I love anthologies and half of the authors listed are favorites. Plus I get to try new authors and new series all together at a great price. Now I have to choose who to read first. I have been waiting for a few of the stories in this anthology. So far I have read Ocean's Serenade because I was lucky to get an advance copy to review and I liked this quick read. How can you go wrong with a clean story about swimming, best friends and mer people. 4 years ago Coral went missing while swimming with Ronan in the ocean. So Ronan was blamed by all because he must have done something to make his best friend disappear. The story is really about how these best friends tried to live separated but felt something was missing and they meet each other by chance while swimming in the ocean at the right time and right place. It was well written and easy to get sucked in. I just wanted to know how it would end. How would the happy ending end up. I have also read Demon Whisky because I was waiting for it and read it first. I loved the story of the Whisky girls. Being a mother I totally am on Leslie's side about surviving your kids and extended family. I also loved to hate her mother Rachel. I was sucked in by the end of the first chapter and read it straight through to see what Rachel was really up to. Hint - nothing good. Just a great story. I also felt it set up for the next story. I need to see what happens next.

This is a fantastic anthology. I'm only partway in so a full review is stoll to come. In the meantime, for fans of SM Blooding's Whiskey Witches series, here's a Demon Whiskey review: ----- Demon Whiskey is a very good introduction to the Whiskey Witches series. It gives you a good sense of family dynamics and back story details, and also of just how much fun the actual series is. I read that series before reading this book 0 but enjoyed it anyway so I can confidently say that this book will work well for both series newcomer and veteran. Definitely recommended.
