This story is exciting, funny and spicy, I can't decide if it's my favorite one yet but it might be! Someone wants him dead and he needs a bride to build alliances and advance his kingdom but when he decides to take an offworlder even more attempts are made to kill him. She is simply a bodyguard, a human one who's been raised on another planet. She just wants to be accepted by her people so she has worked hard all her life to block out and not show emotions. From the first time he sees her, he knows she's his lifemate. She may not be what his kingdom needs but he can't stop wanting her. When she sees him, he brings forth all the emotions she's tried all her life to bury, leaving her confused and wanting. I won't give away the HEA but the ending had me in tears laughing! So glad I found this series!

A. M. Griffin is a wife who rarely cooks, mother of three, dog owner (and sometimes dog owned), a daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She’s a hard worker whose two favorite outlets are reading and writing. She enjoys reading everything from mystery novels to historical romances and of course fantasy romance. She is a believer in the unbelievable, open to all possibilities from mermaids in our oceans and seas, angels in the skies and intelligent life forms in distant galaxies.
