Adam Frost nació en Epping y creció en Buckhurst Hill, Essex. Estudió Literatura Inglesa en Oxford y se doctoró por la Universidad de Cambridge. Su primer libro, Ralph the Magic Rabbit, se publicó en 2006 y fue finalista del premio Waterstones. Frost también es el autor de las series«Danny Danger», de «The Awesome Book of Awesomeness» y «The Epic Book of Epicness». Su obra ¡Un caso que ni pintado! fue finalista del premio Teach Primary en 2016.
