About this ebook

As the first female alpha in living memory, Terra Wilder already has her hands full bringing old-fashioned uncles and cousins into line. But with a regional gathering of ten clans on the horizon, the shifter will soon be faced with an even more arduous task: holding her own against a lineup of power-hungry pack leaders.

Justin Young is the strongest of the opposing alphas, and he also happens to be the handsome but disturbing older brother of Terra's own mate. Justin is far too powerful to vanquish in a pitched battle, so Terra instead opts to trick the alpha into supporting her cause by pretending to be a pack princess on the prowl for a husband.

Flirting with a shifter who looks like a dark reflection of her true mate is no fun, but if Terra doesn't maintain her clan's independence, her male relatives risk being tossed out into the cold while her female cousins are turned into chattel. On the other hand, if Terra succeeds, she might just lose herself --- and her mate --- in the process.

Pack Princess is the second book of the Wolf Rampant series, which begins with Shiftless.

Keywords: shifter, werewolf action, new adult paranormal fantasy series, strong heroine romance, wolf shifter series, wolf shifter paranormal romance, shapeshifter wolf romance

This book was a little more political than Shiftless. It does pick up speed at almost exactly 25% in. This author is still finding her voice and at first it seems the book was written by a different author, and there is one scene that makes this book R rated, but it doesn't take up too much space. There is a whole lot of longing in this one, and if you have invested any emotion to these characters, you'll want to read Pack Princess and slog past the slow beginning. It is worth it.

Pack Princess is the continuation of Terra’s pack from Shiftless. Terra faces new responsibilities as the Pack alpha as well as a show down with new and old enemies. Those enemies pit her against her mate Wolfie. And she even had to wear a dress! It was intense and strong to see Terra and Wolfie face off separately and together. I really have been enjoying Terra and Wolfie’s stories and Pack Princess was no different. Terra is awesome as she grows into who she really is. And how can you not love Wolfie, being all silent, strong and so flipping understanding! While I didn’t need to have read Terra and Wolfie’s stories in Shiftless or Bloodling Wolf to enjoy Pack Princess, it did enhance my knowledge of Terra’s pack and the depth of Terra and Wolfie’s love. I can’t wait to read more!

About the author

Aimee Easterling has been spoiled by four dogs, has spoiled six cats, and has largely been ignored by two guinea pigs, four turtles, a cockatiel, and a slew of fish during her thirty-some year life. Studying biology and working as a naturalist have both informed her writing, but she's quite willing to let reality slide in favor of a good story. When not writing, she loves to read and always keeps books by Robin McKinley, Patricia Briggs, and Elizabeth Peters on her shelf. She is currently hard at work writing her next novel.
