Considering recent events, if you haven't read or watched the Dragon Ball series from the beginning (before Z); I STRONGLY encourage you to do so. You'll be happy you worked your way through the franchise.

I JUST finished volume 1 of this, and its by far my favorite anime. Reading the original manga version is very interesting especially pointing out all the differences.Overall a perfect manga. Btw, this is my first manga :-).

THIS IS THE LAMEST BOOK EVER AND I HATE DBZ AND ALL IT HAS TO OFFER.

Renowned worldwide for his playful, innovative storytelling and humorous, distinctive art style, Akira Toriyama burst onto the manga scene in 1980 with the wildly popular Dr. Slump.
