Alain Claude Sulzer est né en 1953. Il vit à Bâle et a publié de nombreux romans traduits dans plusieurs pays. En 2008, Un garçon parfait s’est vu décerner le prix Médicis étranger. Il a également reçu le prix Hermann-Hesse.En France, tous ses romans ont paru aux éditions Chambon.
