About the author

Alastair R Agutter is one of a select few world-wide to successfully breed the Discus (symphysodon) species King of the Aquarium in captivity and an authority on these tropical fish species and others, as an accomplished Best Selling Author of Specialist Books Internationally.

Alastair began keeping and breeding tropical fish as a hobbyist from the age of just 9 years back in 1967 (nearly 50 years ago) and has successfully bred many species. He was one of the very first Aquarists in the United Kingdom breeding cichlids from the Great Lakes (Malawi and Tanganyika) in the early and mid-nineteen-seventies.

His enthusiasm as a dedicated Aquarist continues today with a number of projects underway; including the development of new biological filtration systems (Polyatomic-ion Biological Reactors), to help improve the success survival rate for keeping thriving plants with tropical fish species. Other projects include breeding a number of endangered species including original strains of the symphysodon family and other smaller indigenous species native to South America mainly inhabiting the Great River Amazon.

Alastair also continues today designing and making his very own aquariums and equipment for his projects, and also endeavours to write more tropical fish hobbyist reference books as a freelance full-time author, in the interests of further serving the local and wider Community Internationally!

Authors Editorial and Review
"This book has been a favourite with Tropical Fish Keepers and a Best Seller now for over 28 years. The Discus Fish, King of the Aquarium is the hardest species to breed and keep in captivity. By following the routines and methods in this book, ensures any hobbyist can keep successfully any type of tropical fish, be it a community aquarium full of tropical fishes, or seeking to specially breed cichlids and other species of interest successfully. The fish food menu's inside this book I think are very unique, where folk can make up large amounts of specially prepared food that can be frozen down and used when required, creating vast savings on fish food and providing the very best for your fish, with a high protein diet and with all the essential vitamins and nutrients, for healthy thriving fish. - Alastair R Agutter.

“Just as a wind and breeze can change direction and be invisible to your naked eye, one knows of such a presence and existence from such an entity.” ~ Alastair R Agutter

This Second Edition of The Discus Book has been written and produced with updates and additional information since the first edition, written in 1989, to accommodate "some" of the questionable technology changes, regarding this species since the first edition of the Discus Book, when the Author successfully bred Wild Discus (symphysodon) in captivity, the recording of such work and events transcribed to the said printed book.

Alastair Agutter still remains one of a select few in the world today to accomplish such a feat, breeding wild symphysodon, and as a result of such endeavours by he, and other dedicated Aquarist colleagues, they managed to break a cycle and taboo that had lasted for more than 120 years, since the founding of the pastime we know as tropical fish keeping, after "The Great Exhibition" of 1851 and this being, to breed "The King of the Aquarium" in captivity.

This second edition of the book is concise and accurate, based on proven methods and techniques, to deliver the above results. The Discus, King of the Aquarium is a highly evolved species of the Cichlidae (tooth carp) Family and will challenge any Aquarist, even tank bred species. This book will not produce any quick fixes, or silver bullets to keeping symphysodon, whom are a very highly evolved sensitive species. But will provide the secrets to successfully keeping the species, if the valuable information found in this book is followed to the letter.

Natural Law teaches us to "evolve and refine" when studying quantum mechanics and natural branching, in other words stealth, efficiency and risk aversion. Such outcomes and results only ever come from following the covenant of Natural Law when one seeks "simplistic perfection" in all that we do!

Getting Inside Google's Head Book

In my professional business life as a Computer Scientist, I was fortunate to be at the beginning of the World Wide Web's commercial story and journey. I fondly recall Google launching via their University Servers. So this book is from an old hand teaching structure and the fundamental elements required to be successful.

It is every web site owners dream to have millions of visitors and customers!

So how do you achieve this goal and know from the very outset you are on the right track and getting the correct advice!

We all know today that we are all caught up in a very competitive global community. Yet at the same time we can see great success stories around us from many online endeavours and none more so than Google, as the World's Market Leader in Advertising.

Many dream of great success online and often wish if only they could share in the Google phenomena of the countless $$$$$ billions made. So I ask you, have you ever really thought of how you can share in that Google Magic!

This book has been written for every web site owner. It is not some in-depth 'Geeks Guide' to the World of Technology and coding.

The book has been written covering the key elements of how you structure your web site and web pages, so your creation is optimized to function fast and efficiently on Search Engines (google, bing, ask, yahoo) and user browser (chrome, fire fox, explorer, opera, safari) rendering engines.

By following the fundamental key golden rules in this book, you will find your web site traffic and customer sales growing, as your web site will soon become a friend to both Search and Browser rendering engines.

Quotation: "Natural Law and Quantum Mechanics teaches us about the Universal Laws of creation and at the very heart of this miracle for all life is "refinement of design and efficiency"'. So I often ask myself, why is it that the human race often tries to over complicate, when the ultimate goal is always to seek simplistic perfection." ~ Alastair R Agutter

Based on detailed research, helping to improve performance of over 94% of all web sites world-wide. By following some key golden rules and simple jargon free steps in this book, webmasters will see far higher search engine ranking results on Google, Yahoo and Bing etc. Your web site will render 3 to 4 times faster for your new visitors. You will see a significant and noticeable increase of web users and customers to your web site, by as much as 45 to 60%, if not higher.

Finally, remember Google's success began and continues today from the creation of a simple (natural law) search engine design!

The Theory of Particle Matter Frequencies and Multiple Universes Book

I wrote this paper some years back now, and I know many would think I am stark raving mad. But I am pleased to see that the Science community in the last year, or so, is now coming around to my theory, and the recent programme by Professor Brian Cox, provides greater evidence and logic surrounding the related subject area, sometimes referred to as zero point, inflation and convergence.

The Theory of Particle Matter and Multiple Universes, is a work for recording the author's findings regarding the big questions humanity have always been asking. A book for the big thinkers in our society and great young minds looking beyond the canvas and closet thinking.

The Theory of Particle Matter Frequencies and Multiple Universes asks, is there more beyond the canvas that we all see!

I hope many in the Science community and great young minds acquire this book covering my work. Quantum leaps for humanity have always come from looking at something with a different approach. My findings have arrived not as a mathematician, but from studying the life cycles of Natural Law and how Quantum Mechanics functions continuosly seeking workarounds and refinement. By understanding these conditions and encapsulating all dimensions regarding volume, space and conditions. Can you then quantify and apply these rules and laws throughout the cosmos and all that we know.

Is time, space, motion, natural law, quantum mechanics and natural branching all related to an expanding analytical data membrane we describe as the big soup or grand scheme.

Do we really understand the multiple facets of energy forms that exist?

Albert Einstein once conceded by saying “God has a sense of humour” regarding the other!

Quotation: “If the spirit of your imagination is limited, your journey of discovery will be very short.” ~ Alastair R Agutter

Stephen Hawking has concluded that the "Big Bang" derived from just "Energy" but there has to be another. For without it, an event, or execution, cannot take place!
