Alberto Ades (@adesalb on X) is an economist with more than thirty years of experience in global financial markets. He is currently Director of Research and Strategy at NWI Management. Over the course of his career, he has held senior positions at BofA Merrill Lynch, Citigroup, and Goldman Sachs, where he led research teams and developed pioneering economic and financial models.
He earned a PhD in Economics from Harvard University and a law degree from the University of Buenos Aires. His research has been published in leading academic journals, including the American Economic Review and the Quarterly Journal of Economics, and he frequently contributes commentary to both local and international media.
Originally from Argentina, he now resides in New York.
