About the author
Alex Shearer lives with his family in Somerset. He has written more than a dozen books for both adults and children including The Greatest Shore in the World, The Great Blue Yonder, and The Speed of the Dark which was shortlisted for the Guardian Children's Fiction Prize, as well as many successful television series, films, and stage and radio plays.
