About this ebook

Maddie Stewart woke to a world she didn't recognize, one that left her with questions no one could answer, except the handsome man sitting at her bed side when she came to. Real life felt like a dream, a world so perfect that her heart swelled with happiness. But, in the night, her dreams became nightmares, reminding her there was plenty she still didn't know.

The SEAL Alliance motto, where the only easy day was yesterday, rang all too true for Navy Seal Isaac Lewis. The girl of his dreams was at his fingertips, but was just out of reach. He was faced with decisions, ones he knew were right, and ones he knew were wrong. Somewhere, somehow, the line began to blur, and he was certain he'd overstepped that line, but he wasn't sure he wanted to go back.

Two worlds collide by accident, by chance, or by fate?

I just cannot overlook the fact that he lied to her. Yes, he loves her and has never had the chance to express those feelings before but it does not excuse taking advantage of a vulnerable woman. She has no memories of her old life and it does not help that this guy is sleeping with her, feeding her lies and keeping secrets. Isaac seems nice but this storyline just made me dislike him. They have a connection, why not let it bring them together? I finished 2/3 of the book but I could not stop screaming at Isaac to spill the truth, it was selfish of him to engage in sexual activities knowing full well he is lying to her and that she is confused. I've watched a thriller with the same storyline and I have to conclude that there is no way of making this storyline fit in a romantic context. Maybe if he had stopped with the lies at the hospital. I understand changing her name so her ex can't find her but once they were in the safety of his home he should have given her the truth.

I like the plot, but the details in the writing are off. You don't find out the some of the more important details until later on. It'd be better if the writers were a little more careful about the details. If it weren't for what I mentioned above, I'd have given it a better review.

It takes a few pages to figure out what is going n. Then as he starts to lie to her it takes a while to find out why. After that there is so much going on to keep up the lies it kept me tense. So the tension was from the lies not so much the story.
