I've read a lot of books written by Alexis Anne; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books. This is the first book in the Empire Trilogy; Samantha finds out after her parents died that she is actually the baby that was kidnapped and never found years ago. It’s a well written story and I can’t wait for the next book. I received a free copy of this book via booksprout and I’m voluntarily leaving a review.

This story had me from the first page. Imagine the life you were living was a lie and the parents you thought of as mom and dad were false! When Samantha's aka Victoria parents died in a freak accident, she was given a rude wake up because her mother left her a note telling her she was kidnapped as a baby. The only thing real for her is Jace he has been there since they were children but that in itself is another story that will come up to rear its ugly head in the end. This is a story that has a lot of layers and as they unfold leaves another question to be answered. It is filled with mystery and suspense that once you start you can't put it down until the last page! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
