I am so regret that I purchased this book which I thought I would only need to spend a couple days to master SQL Server if not 24 hours because I have several years experience with many kinds of database. But now, even I am willing to spend 24 weeks, or 24 months, I can never master SQL Server if I stay with this book! I got trouble immediately when I got to the Hour 2 on pp 28. The CD came with the book does not match what it tells during the installation. The CD is useless! Without SQL Server Express installed on my computer, I cannot go further with the book. I tried to contact the author through the publisher, but nobody contacts me back and tells me what to do, and where I can get the Software that matches the book. Now, this book is a garbage to me, may be also to those who have the same problems like me! Take my advice--Don't buy this book! And I will never buy books again with Alison Balter as an author because she is unable to write things clearly and does not want to take responsibility to what she wrote to the reader!
