About this ebook

Lindsay Andrews doesn’t have much of a social life. She’s too focused on getting her master’s degree in nutrition, while helping her employer set up a new pediatric clinic in Delaware.

That all changes when she gets pulled over by a state trooper on the New York Thruway. A handsome state trooper who happens to be a graduate from Roselle University, where she goes to school. There is an instant spark of attraction that flares even brighter when they meet up at Roselle’s homecoming a month later.

Although Lindsay knows she doesn’t have time for a relationship, when Matt Quinsy smiles that smile—and flashes that dimple—she decides to make time. Unfortunately, Matt has serious obligations of his own. In New York. Four hours away. Not to mention, he’d already been burned by a long-distance love affair.

Is their attraction strong enough to go the distance?

About the author

Alleigh Burrows was enjoying a lovely drive up the NY Thruway when she noticed the flashing red and blue lights of a police car zooming up behind her. This real-life experience inspired her to write Catching a Pixie, a meet cute between a graduate student and a NY State Trooper. Catching a Pixie is Burrows second novel. Her first book, Dare to Love, an historical regency romance, earned her PAN membership in the Romance Writers of America.

Alleigh lives in Delaware with her husband and their sweet lump of a cat. Be sure to visit her website at AlleighBurrows.com or on Twitter @AlleighBurrows to see what her next project will be.
