Life in Amsterville has always been rough for a certain mentally disturbed young man, but one night would change his life forever when an ominous black cloud swarms his town out of nowhere turning everyone it touches into horrifying monsters. After being struck by the cloud himself and gunned down during a crossfire between police and the monsters, the young man mysteriously awakens in the morgue unscathed only to find his town in ruins with a blood red sky and monsters of all shapes and forms trying to kill him at every corner. His only two allies are Maddy and Blue, who find themselves trapped in the town with him as they try to find a way of escape. To top everything off, the young man finds himself psychologically tormented by an unknown entity that causes him to question his perception of reality. This is the story of a young man named Paxton Youngblood, who not only fights for his life, but his humanity as well in a world corrupted by a being those unfortunate enough to live in call the “Black Devil”.

Allen Harrow is a horror writer and digital artist who has turned his struggles with severe depression into a mission to help others. At 19, Harrow felt trapped in darkness but found solace through his faith in God and the power of writing. This personal journey inspired him to dedicate his life to guiding those who feel lost or broken.

His debut series, Black Devil, began as an outlet for his anger and despair toward a cruel world. However, as Harrow grew closer to God and found support from others, he decided to reshape the series into a meaningful story. And, now, Black Devil serves as an inspiration, helping readers navigate their own darkness and find light.
