This book first grabbed my attention by the cover because just look at the cover! Then it has a single mom and a man who owns a dog shelter sign me up for this book.I was instantly hooked and I couldn't put it down. Izzy and Brad shouldn't work, but they balance one another. Izzy needs some more fun and Brad needs to better plan for the future. I loved Izzy's daughter. She's a cutie. I even loved the secondary character as well. You know you have a good book when you get invested in the main characters, but also they secondary characters. I can already tell you I'm a huge fan of this series. I love Brad's shelter and how he can find the perfect dog for someone. This book has a lot of heart and that's one of the things I liked best. It also delivers on the heat. Brad and Izzy have a lot of chemistry. Can Brad and Izzy have a future when Izzy is keeping something pretty big from Brad? Can Brad ever forgive her for it?

Loved this book!! What's not to love with a hottie who cares for animals the way Brad does. The opposites in their personalities add to the fun in the relationship between Brad and Izzy. Brad is carefree with an "everything will work out" view which drives Izzy crazy. Isabelle is a single mom and takes her responsibilities very seriously. Especially her financial responsibilities. It's obvious that her daughter is Izzy's number one priority and keeping them financially sound is how she knows they will always be ok. Sure she's attracted to Brad but could she be with someone so fiscally irresponsible? All this and lots of cute puppies?? Yes please! I highly recommend this one.
