Pure A most disappointing use of good material. There were many threads here Miller begins to pick up but does not follow through. So much of the vulgarity was unnecessary. There could have been a great parallel drawn between the destruction of the cemetery and the coming of the French Revolution but Miller was more concerned with sex and body parts. Great idea, badly executed.
Review: Pure The story is a good one and the writing is fantastic. If I was a person who highlighted passages, this book would be filled with color! I love his writing. I usually do not re-read books, but I'll consider re-reading this one.
Review: Pure Having been to the catacombs in Paris, I am very excited to read this book.
