Not a bad mystery. It wasn't a suspense thriller by any means but was not bad.

Really good book, fast paced, very well written, 5 stars

good read but predictable in parts but pregnancy was a nice surprise

 Lorna Dounaeva writes addictive psychological thrillers filled with family secrets, toxic relationships, and dark truths hidden behind closed doors. Set in British seaside towns, remote islands, and close-knit communities, her books delve into dangerous obsessions, deception, and the devastating consequences of buried secrets.

Fascinated by morally complex characters and the darker side of human nature, Lorna writes tense, twist-filled domestic suspense and is especially fond of female villains.
