About the author

Angira Vats is a poet, a cinephile and a nature

gazer. She hails from an illustrious family of writers and artists. Her great grandfather Sri. Ayodhya Singh Upadhyay‘ Harioudh’ was an eminent writer of Hindi literature and had been conferred with the title of Vidyavachaspati. She grew up in an ethically rich atmosphere filled with literature, music, and art that developed her passion for creation which took many forms like writing, photography, production designing, and sooner than soon she became a force to reckon with in the world of TV, styling historical characters and creatively heading many historic shows like ‘Devo ke Dev Mahadev’, ‘Jai Sri Krishna’, ‘Siya ke Ram’,

‘Aladdin’ etc. She collaborated in films like ‘Gadar’, ‘Bewafa’ and ‘Lucky – No time for love’ as

an assistant director.

She discovered her flair for writing as a 10 year oldwhere she enjoyed weaving words for school essays. Life introduced her to the new dynamics of intriguing human relationships that now reflect in the ideas of love, life, and divinity in her collection of poems.
