About this ebook

Paranormal comedy about a thirty-something heroine, a decades-old curse, and a house full of magical chaos.

She’s cursed, surrounded by idiots, and can’t find the corkscrew. Something’s got to give.

Twenty-nine years ago, Joan’s first grade teacher — armed with a migraine and questionable judgment — cursed her entire class. For one terrifying day, they lost their sight and voices. Then the symptoms vanished.

Now the curse is coming back.

As adults, Joan and a tight-knit group of former classmates have spent years researching the supernatural, desperate for answers. When a mysterious skeleton key sends a familiar electric jolt through her system, Joan realizes this might finally be the lead they need.

Unfortunately, solving a magical curse means gathering reinforcements:

a skeptical neuroscientist,

a yoga instructor to the stars,

a pot-smoking ghost hunter,

and her on-again-off-again boyfriend — whose witchy ex is suddenly back in the picture.

If Joan can’t break the curse, it won’t just ruin her love life. It could ruin everything.

A Curse, A Key, & A Corkscrew is Book 1 of the Rhymes With Witch series, a witty contemporary fantasy featuring found family, snarky heroines, witches, romantic tension, adult characters in their thirties, and chaotic magical hijinks.

Perfect for readers who love paranormal comedy, cozy urban fantasy, quirky magic, and character-driven supernatural stories with heart and humor.

If you enjoy books by K. F. Breene, Maggie M. Lily, Robyn Peterman, Annette Marie, or Helen Harper, you’ll love this hilarious series starter.
