It's an amazing alternative daily meditation for men. I prefer it over JFT or the AA readings. If you are working a 12 step program or at the beginning of your sobriety journey this is my go-to book recommendation for you. The only thing I wish they would improve on is not every person reading this is a heterosexual male, it's always referring to female as the choice of companionship. If they could make a revision of the pronoun available to nongender specific partners as an alternative option to purchase I would pay extra for that edition opposed to this one. Just a suggestion.
