I'm 13 and Sherlock Holmes is awesome. He's even cooler than Thor. I have read all of the Sherlock Holmes stories. At first I didn't like the sound of Sherlock Holmes, because it sounded old and boring. I lovdd the WW2 Agatha Christie's, and I didn't want 2 change. Then -just as Poirot told Hastings what a work of art Sherlock Holmes was as he held it in his hands- I decided. I read them as fast as I could at first, and then I slowly started trying to get it. Just so you guys know, Mr. Holmes is a sociopath

About the author

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, in 1859. Before starting his writing career, Doyle attended medical school, where he met the professor who would later inspire his most famous creation, Sherlock Holmes. A Study in Scarlet was Doyle's first novel; he would go on to write more than sixty stories featuring Sherlock Holmes. He died in England in 1930.
