Phoenix O'Halloran, Red to her friends, is a brash, in your face journalist who always gets her story. Having long ago lost touch with her emotions, except righteous indignation, she now has a very strange problem. Her subconscious has acquired a voice of its own. It's insisting it’s an extraterrestrial alien who needs her help. Not only that, he's her mate.

Long ago Trian was a member of a team aboard a galactic defense spaceship, sent to stop an invasion of Earth. An unsavory group of demonic aliens wanted Earth for its mineral resources. They had no qualms about removing any obstacles in their way, planets, civilizations and anyone sent to stop them. It didn’t go well for Earth’s defenders. Immortal yet frozen in stone they had no choice except to wait out the eons. An ancient prophecy told that only through the compassion of spiritually evolved humans would each of them be freed. And there’s the first problem.

Phoenix knows she wouldn’t know compassion if she fell over it. She certainly isn’t spiritually evolved. Though she now lives in Boswell and she has had the retrovirus to repair her DNA she still can’t do anything like the others around her. She can’t telepath, except with the one voice in her head, she can’t teleport and she’s shown no sign of any other special skills. She’s the least likely person to help Trian yet it appears fate has decreed she’s the one. Then there’s the other problem. The stone that is currently Trian is holding up the side of a mountain. If that mountain side falls...

Long Description

A hundred thousand years ago the immortal commander of the Malakim’s galactic defense fleet, fighting to protect the planets of this dimension from an invasion force, was turned into stone and plummeted to earth. Unable to use his immortal powers to free himself he must wait through the eons until a human is born with enough unconditional love and compassion to form a mystical bond with him and free him. The prophecy of a young immortal boy is his only hope "The heart of stone by love be free." In the meantime his enemy, the Din, have established themselves on the planet he sought to save. Possibly the oversouls of dinosaurs, they have demonic powers to possess another being by inhabiting their aura. They've built themselves a global economic empire, living in comfort at the expense of those they've enslaved.

The story does not belong to any one genre. It mixes mythology, paranormal romance, conspiracy, sci-fi adventure and is a light-hearted introduction into non-dual consciousness. One reader called the adventure "an expansive swirl of fantasy, sci-fi inter galactic battles, new age mysticism and more than a little in the way of lusty encounters involving a vastly experienced, endowed, ageless shape shifting spirit being and an initially sedate...librarian."

Tyra, the librarian, is called in to view the remains of her uncle who seems to have been slaughtered by a wild beast. She finds out that she belongs to one of the guardian families and has a prophecy to fulfill. She's worked for years at her desk in the city's library. Haunted by dreams of an alien warrior and a mysterious sage she's never been interested in having an intimate relationship. Now she must learn enough about tantra to free her destined mate and enough of martial arts to survive until she does, cross more than a few taboo boundaries along the way. Some bondage scenes, neo-tantra and menage sex.

This is the first book in the series called Left hand adventures. Lefthand Adventures is the business Simon trades under in Heart of Stone, until he sets up his new security firm. Lefthand also designates one of the many spiritual evolutionary paths the Malakim follow. Simon follows left hand path, using ecstatic experiences and shamanic practices. Whereas Thex follows the warrior’s path of justice and the protection of the innocent. Tyra adopts the middle path of love and compassion but that doesn’t exclude her from learning the ways of ecstasy or becoming a warrior in her own right. Other books in the series so far are A Lick of Immortality (Book 2) which focuses on John, Sally and Arion’s stories. Trust and Destiny (Book 3) is Michael, Sarah and Kiana’s story.

Mysticism, menage and paranormal mayhem in this final of the series. As the world hurtles towards apocalypse twins Astra and Brenin are asked to enter the cursed space-time anomaly that is Atlantis. They will have to use everything at their disposal: courage, love and friendship if they are to undo the curse that is pulling down the whole planet. Meanwhile Triglav is on the run, sentenced to death for a past he has faced but justice is demanded. Simon must own up to something that happened long ago, something he has hidden until now.

Excerpt:

Astra wrapped the night around her, to conceal herself from any unseen prying eyes then she made her way over to their comatose bodies. She fished through pockets, photographically memorized names on drivers licenses and details of other documents she found on them. She planted small, wafer thin RFID tags deep within their wallets. Noting one guy’s well worn and assumedly much loved gold ring she carefully removed it and found a small space behind the gemstone it held. Just big enough to hide a small, almost transparent, voice activated transmitter. Then she carefully put everything back the way she found it and walked away, just in time. Jessup was driving back as he circled the block.

She took a moment to release the dark and her hold on the thugs minds then she dived into the passenger seat of the waiting car. “Hit the gas Jessup. They’re waking up.”

As his foot hit the accelerator he frowned at the waking thugs in the revision mirror. “How the hell did you…?”

Astra glared at him. “What did I tell you when you first became my partner?”

“Three monkeys.”

“Exactly. You saw nothing strange, heard nothing strange. You will tell no-one.”

Jessup shook his head to clear it. He’d seen her step out of a dark abyss and then the waking thugs were there. At least that’s what he thought he saw. No, he wasn’t putting that in his report. He’d be spending time with his workplace’s shrink if he did. Definitely didn’t see anything. “You have my word Jas.”

And his word was good. “I know I do.” Time had proven that.
