I read the prologue and could go no further. I had my doubts when 3 youths were described as 'ruffians '. The whole tenor of the writing is rather infantile and clearly aimed at young audience. I have been described as many things but young is not one of them (not for quite a few years).

This was a light read. It did however keep me intrigued enough that I didn’t want to put it down. Can’t wait to read the rest of the series.
