The book is okay. It is an extremely slow read that basically starts a story and pushes the reader to read the next book. It is actually pretty disappointing and seems to take an entire book to read what should have been the first few chapters of a good story. I believe this book would be a much better read if it contained more of the story and did not draw it out to such an extent that you were nothing but frustrated and felt like it was a waste of time to read. With the slow movement of the story being considered, I do not even wish to read the second book to find out what happens because it will probably be the same slow read.

Another good book from Ava Miles love this little mini series which is a 4 part book series, this is a nice easy read looking forward to the follow on books to get the rest of the story. This first book sets the story with its history of both the characters starting off in good old Dare valley with a new character and lots of the old characters from all her previous books popping into the storyline. I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own.
