Still love Remi Laurent. In this second of the series, Remi again pairs with Daniel Walker from the FBI to track down a killer starting in NYC and moving next to Paris. Remi is along because she is an expert on cryptex clues. This is a fast-paced book with Remi trying to assist with solving the crimes with an academic perspective. Fascinating perspective and very difficult to put down. **I received this book in exchange for an honest review. **

Remi and Daniel are brilliant together.. Daniel has deep dark secrets and Remi also has her own searching for the code.. Together they chase down clues and works of art to catch a serial killer.. Really enjoy the pace and characters.. Cannot wait for next in series..

The Murder Code is another demanding adventure for Remi, who once more works with Daniel in the FBI Antiquities Division, to discover who is killing and stealing the paintings of the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Hunting the killer they go to France and Italy where finally the mystery is solved. Remi again, faces peril and has her life threatened but she finds it alluring and wants to continue to work with the FBI. How is she going to convince her boyfriend that is a good option remains to be seen. Also she continues to pursue the mystery of the cryptex eager to learn what is the message! Looking forward to reading the next book in the series which is proving to be very entertaining! I downloaded a free copy of this book through BookFunnel and this is my honest opinion.
